Fresh mountain air and crystal-clear views of a winter landscape like no other, await you on a winter hike in the Val Pusteria.

If you prefer something a little more challenging, you can grab your skis and glide down the steep slopes on the Plan de Corones or glide along the Anterselva cross-country ski trail.

Time to hit the slopes

The white carpet before your eyes and the sizzling sun on your face – that’s skiing at Plan de Corones. South Tyrol’s No. 1 ski mountain is just a few minutes’ drive from our campsite and promises fun on the slopes at the highest level. But it’s not just Kronplatz that is ideal for skiing the nearby ski areas of the Three Peaks Dolomites, Skiworld Valle Aurina and the small Riepenlift in Valle di Anterselva also ensure sporty winter days in a snow paradise.

Cross-country tracks are calling

Everyone in the biathlon scene is familiar with the Valle di Anterselva and it is known for its perfectly groomed cross-country trails. which are also part of the Dolomiti NordicSki cross-country network. Fancy a change?

If you’re not much a fan of skiing, or need something a little different from time to time, there are many doors open here in the Val Pusteria. How about a winter hike to one of the alpine huts in the Valle di Anterselva? The way back down to the valley can be done on a sledge in many places. Perhaps you will also find your winter happiness on one of the surrounding ice rinks or you can make yourself comfortable and enjoy the magical winter landscape on a horse-drawn sleigh ride.
